Ben Cardin
Benjamin Louis "Ben" Cardin is the junior United States Senator from Maryland, in office since 2007. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Before his election to the Senate, Cardin was a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing from 1987 to 2007. He also served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1967 to 1987, and has never lost an election.
