Chris Joseph Columbus is an American film director, producer and screenwriter. Columbus is known for such movies as Gremlins, The Goonies, Mrs. Doubtfire, Home Alone and for debut Harry Potter movie franchise by directing the first two films and producing the third in the series of eight.
