GYPSYJAZZ
Gypsy jazz
Gypsy jazz is a style of jazz music often said to have been started by guitarist Jean "Django" Reinhardt in the 1930s. Because its origins are largely in France it is often called by the French name, "jazz manouche", or alternatively, "manouche jazz", even in English language sources. Some modern dictionaries recommend avoiding using the word gypsy because it is felt to have been tainted by its frequent use as a pejorative, however dictionaries do not caution against use of the term "gypsy jazz."The above text is a snippet from Wikipedia: Gypsy jazz
