HEAT

Heat

In physics and chemistry, especially in thermodynamics, transfer of energy as heat between two bodies is a natural spontaneous process that occurs when the bodies differ in hotness and have a suitable physical connection. It is measured as the quantity of energy transferred other than by work or by transfer of matter. The transfer is always from the hotter to the colder. If a body's hotness is regular, it can be measured by its temperature. The transfer can occur by conduction, radiation, and convective circulation.
