MATERIALISM

Materialism

In philosophy, the theory of materialism holds that all things are composed of material, and all phenomena are the result of material interactions, that things are built not found as in the historically important but scientifically unimportant physicalism. Materialism is not to be confused with the idea that there is such a thing as reality which has defined states of energy and matter which the intellectually simple idea of physicalism falls into.
