"One Son" is the twelfth episode of the sixth season of the science fiction television series The X-Files, and the 129th episode overall. It was directed by Rob Bowman and co-written by series creator Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz. This episode explores the series' overarching mythology and features the conclusion to the Syndicate story arc.
