Auxiliary

In fraternal orders an auxiliary is typically a female "sister" organizations for all male orders. There are also youth auxiliaries for those who are too young to be members in their own right. These groups have historically serve to remove wives objections that their husbands are away with a group that excludes them and it often creates a free labor pool for administrative and organizing affairs.
