Back to Basics
Back to Basics is the fifth studio album by American recording artist Christina Aguilera. It was released on August 10, 2006, by RCA Records. Looking to transition from the provocative image of her fourth album, Stripped, Aguilera wanted to make a "a throwback to the 20s, 30s, and 40s-style jazz, blues, and feel-good soul music, but with a modern twist". As executive producer, she enlisted collaborators including DJ Premier, Rich Harrison, Kwamé, Mark Ronson, and Linda Perry. The above text is a snippet from Wikipedia: Back to Basics (Christina Aguilera album)
