Lefse

Lefse is a traditional soft, Norwegian flatbread. It is made out of flour, milk or cream, and sometimes lard, and cooked on a griddle. Potato is commonly added to make a dough that is easier to work with. Special tools are available for lefse baking, including long wooden turning sticks and special rolling pins with deep grooves.
