Presenting a puzzle type we really enjoy, invented by our friend Joon — it’s a “Two Outta Three Ain’t Bad” puzzle! What is such a puzzle? Glad you asked.
Each answer in this puzzle is a lowercase dictionary word. Clues come in three types: anagrams, rhymes, and synonyms of the answer word. However, for each answer, only two of the three types of clues are given. It is up to you to determine which clue is which type. Clues are given in alphabetical order.
Because clues are decoupled from entries in this puzzle type, Squares.io or PDF are your only solving options, as we discussed last week. We highly recommend typing the answers in the clues sidebar as you solve, and then entering them in the grid once you are relatively certain where they go. This is not an easy puzzle type, so consider downloading the iPuz file and solving it on Squares with a friend!
