PUZZLE LINKS: JPZ Download | Online Solver
Up until this point, all the puzzles on this site have been “crosswords” in some sense, in that the words, you know, cross. (In the case of acrostics or our recent “portals” puzzle, the words cross virtually.) This puzzle is different though! It’s a dropquote. What’s a dropquote?
In a dropquote, you must reveal the quote hidden in the white squares. Above each column are a series of letters; you “drop” each letter into the appropriate squares in each row and column to reveal the quote. Use logic and letter patterns to determine which letter goes where.
Today’s quote is by Steven Wright, allegedly. I can’t find any proof that he actually said it, but the internet seems to think he did. If you have evidence this is true, send it my way! And either way, I hope you enjoy. Many thanks to Will for testing this for us!
