As part of my quest to write at least one of every type of variety puzzle, here’s a Marching Bands! If you’ve never done one of these before, here’s how it works:
In this themeless variant, answers appear in two different directions, Rows and Bands. Each Row has two answers side by side with no black square separating them (except for row 7). Each band starts at the lettered square and goes around the grid clockwise, one answer after another all the way around the circle. Every square appears in two answers.
I think this is a great puzzle type, and if you agree, you should really subscribe to BEQ’s Marching Bands which are invariably much better than this one.
