PUZZLE LINKS: iPuz Download | Online Solver
Good news everybody! The Crossword Nexus solver now supports puzzles where the clues are decoupled from the entries in the grid. This makes a lot of variety puzzles possible in there that weren’t before. I’ll have more to say about this in the future — including a how-to on making these — but for now, enjoy today’s puzzle! This is a puzzle type invented by Joon, and the instructions are as follows:
Each answer in this puzzle is a lowercase dictionary word. Clues come in three types: anagrams, rhymes, and synonyms of the answer word. However, for each answer, only two of the three types of clues are given. It is up to you to determine which clue is which type. Clues are given in alphabetical order.
Feel free to make liberal use of the “clue notes” pencil in the clue pane to help you keep track of the answers as you go. Huge shout-out to Dob from Crossweird for helping implement that feature.
